Sales Engineer - Industrial Flooring
Location: North West (covering Midlands & North West)
We're recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer of industrial flooring and surfacing systems. Known for high-performance solutions across commercial and industrial sectors, they're seeking a Sales Engineer to grow business and manage client accounts in the Midlands and North West.
The Role:
A great opportunity for a technically minded sales professional who enjoys project-based selling, client relationship management, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow an existing client base within the region
Identify and win new business
Conduct site visits and propose tailored solutions
Prepare quotations and follow up on proposals
Attend meetings and coordinate internally to support project delivery
Assist with RAMS, planning, and installation handovers
Track sales activity and forecast performance
Represent the company at trade shows and events
Requirements:
5+ years in technical sales or sales engineering
Proven new business development and account management experience
Strong communication skills
Ability to interpret client needs and offer engineered solutions
Full UK driving licence
Experience in flooring, resin coatings, cladding, decking, or similar prefabricated materials
Desirable:
Background in civil engineering or construction
Experience working with contractors, FMs, or end-users in commercial/industrial settings
Benefits:
Salary from £38,000 (negotiable)
