Job description
Whether the student presents with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, speech and language difficulties, or social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, you will play a vital role in supporting them to build confidence, achieve their goals, and enjoy learning.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver tailored lessons in line with individual EHCPs, learning goals, or personalised support plans.
2. Adapt teaching strategies to suit a variety of SEN profiles.
3. Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
4. Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to parents/carers and professionals.
5. Work collaboratively with families, schools, and other support professionals as needed.
Essential Requirements:
6. Proven experience working with children or young people with special educational needs.
7. Strong understanding of different SEN profiles and effective teaching strategies.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Patience, empathy, and the ability to build trust and rapport with learners.
10. Relevant teaching qualification or SEN training
