Project Manager – IonQ Research Programme
The University of Cambridge hosts the UK's most powerful quantum computer, part of a partnership with quantum technology company IonQ. This role will deliver operational and administrative support for the Joint Scientific Committee (JSC) overseeing the IonQ research programme.
Responsibilities
* Manage QIC operations and financial management.
* Risk management and coordination of grant applications and costings.
* ications and engagement with the IonQ community in Cambridge and internationally.
* Act as Secretary to the JSC and provide operational and administrative expertise.
* Ensure successful delivery of the IonQ research programme.
Qualifications
* High level of project management proficiency and proven experience in managing complex research programmes.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to engage effectively with members of the IonQ community, the public and stakeholders.
* Strong organisational skills, able to work independently and as part of a wide and varied team across different staff categories and levels of seniority.
* Full time (37 hours per week) with flexibility for 0.8 FTE; will be required to undergo a security check.
