Senior National Account Manager NBF - Fixed-term contract (12 months maternity cover)

Key Responsibilities
* Full account management responsibility, managing our lead grocery customers Tesco and Asda, with at least one direct report.
* Devise and deliver comprehensive business plans with Tesco and Asda, owning all P&L metrics and driving sales and profitability with a focus on key trading periods.
* Primary point of contact for accounts, handling day‑to‑day account management and promptly addressing issues, strengthening stakeholder relationships.
* Drive availability of hero SKUs across all store formats, continuously identifying growth opportunities and leveraging data and insights.
* Launch key NPD with strong distribution and activation plans, targeting top‑class UROS from launch through promotional activity, secondary display, POS, and online/in‑store media.
* Report regularly on account performance, sales achievements, and market insights to senior management.
* Provide ad hoc coaching and support for junior commercial team members.
* Collaborate with small cross‑functional teams in operations, finance, marketing and customer service.
* Play a pivotal role in delivering annual plans and long‑term NBF business strategy.

Qualifications & Experience
* Right‑to‑work in the UK (no sponsorship).
* Bachelor’s degree level education or higher.
* Established national account management experience within FMCG.
* Data‑driven mindset, able to interpret complex proposals and insights.
* Excellent relationship building and selling skills, able to influence buyers and internal teams.
* Cross‑functional collaborator, experienced working with broad teams.
* Result‑oriented with a proven record of delivering account/channel targets.
* Excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills.
* Passion for health and well‑being.
* Strong team player.
Practical Details
Full‑time position based in St Albans offices; four days per week on‑site.
