What you will be doing
During your placement year, you will split your time between the Inclusion & Diversity and Employment Marketing teams.
Inclusion & Diversity Responsibilities
* Contribute to the delivery of inclusion projects that are directly linked to our Top Company Objectives which aim to increase the number, spread, seniority and engagement of under represented groups;
* Help to develop employee engagement programmes that enable cross-division engagement and sponsorship across business all levels;
* Engage with our executive team across our divisions on awareness and governance topics;
* Support diversity campaigns like IDAHOBIT, International Women's Day and Disability Weeks; and,
* Interact with some external corporate partners, as Airbus champions external programmes and frameworks and is a signatory to a number of charters including the UN Sustainable Development Goals, Women in Defence and the Disability Confident scheme.
Employment Marketing Responsibilities
* Organising and Attending Career Fairs:
o Collaborate with the Employment Marketing team to plan, coordinate, and execute university career fairs and related events - both online and offline;
o Assist in the logistical arrangements, including booth setup, collateral/asset preparation, and managing event registrations;
o Engage with prospective candidates, providing information about Airbus and its employment opportunities; and,
o Collect and analyse feedback and data from career fairs to help improve future recruitment strategies.
* Recruitment Advertising Campaigns:
o Support the development and implementation of recruitment advertising campaigns across digital and out-of-home media channels;
o Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to create compelling and effective campaign materials;
o Assist in monitoring campaign performance and provide insights to optimise future advertising efforts;
o Contribute creative ideas to enhance the employer branding initiatives and attract diverse talent.
* Employer Branding and Talent Attraction:
o Assist in the execution of employer branding strategies to enhance the reputation of Airbus as an employer of choice;
o Contribute to the creation and maintenance of content for employment marketing channels, including social media, careers website, and other communication platforms;
o Support the coordination of employer branding events and initiatives, both internally and externally; and
o Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in employment marketing.
During the placement you will develop your project management, stakeholder engagement, communication and facilitation skills in a creative and supportive environment.
Requirements
Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
* You are currently studying for a relevant or related degree, for example in Marketing, Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, Public Affairs, Communications, or Politics;
* Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask effectively;
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen, understand and engage with diverse audiences;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences;
* Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and contribute innovative ideas; and,
* Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., TikTok) is desirable.
Security Clearance
You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
