The Opportunity A fantastic opportunity has now arisen in our Court of Protection department, which is recognised by the independently researched Legal 500 as tier 3 firm in Manchester, is looking to expand and is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic COP Paralegal, to join the team. You will be based in our Court of Protection department, focusing on the safeguarding and support of vulnerable people. The team offers advice on various Court of Protection issues, with a particular emphasis on protecting and supporting vulnerable individuals. They assist their clients in managing their property and financial affairs. The team deals with a substantial number of clients who have been appointed as deputies, providing help to individuals with acquired brain injuries, Dementia/Alzheimer's and other serious injuries in handling their financial matters. Key Responsibilities The role will see you responsible for providing cost effective administrativel support to the partner and other senior fee-earners in the team in the work of the department. In addition you will undertake certain elements of fee-earning work under supervision but not as a designated matter handler.
