An opportunity has come up for a band 6 Children's Physiotherapist to join our team.
Children's Therapy Services, a welcoming, friendly and inclusive multidisciplinary team including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech & Language Therapists, have received Outstanding CQC ratings in 2015 and 2018.
The successful candidate will work with children (0‑19 years) with disabilities in a variety of locations, including children’s homes, mainstream schools, nurseries, special schools, clinics and hydrotherapy. The role will include working closely with Occupational Therapists and Speech & Language Therapists.
Main duties of the job
* To assess, treat and devise programmes, which are then taught to parents, carers and school staff.
* To write EHCP reports for the children on the caseload, working closely alongside education colleagues.
* To supervise junior members of the team.
* To take the lead in a clinical area, which will be discussed upon appointment of the post, allowing service development and evidence based practice.
