Qualifications Summary The Project Manager plans, monitors and manages internal project(s), from initiation through completion. Engages internal resources to ensure project delivery is on time and aligned with project requirements and objectives. Applies professional principles, practices, and techniques to lead project processes while controlling cost, performance and risk. Core Responsibilities Lead an integrated project team (IPT) to deliver a scope of work as set out in the business case through the gated Parker Meggitt programme lifecycle process. Operate cross functionally to find mutually beneficial positions between stakeholders and the project deliverables to drive the success of the project. Motivate the project team to contribute towards best project management practices and share the success of good results. Ensure all requirements and associated acceptance criteria are captured, managed and tracked throughout the project. Capture scope change requests and bring forward information to disposition requests with the wider programme team. Achieve milestones and deliverables against the schedule and manage risks that prevent the project falling behind schedule. Estimate cost phasing through the project to support budgeting and forecasting. Monitor the current non-recurring costs against the approved schedule. Identify and correct the reasons for any divergence. Lead internal and external review meetings for the programme. Communicate project status using data driven metrics to the stakeholder community and highlights areas of attention at appropriate intervals. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Strong background in project management methodology. Background in Aerospace preferred. Background in Manufacturing and Engineering essential. Able to adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities. Can work independently and interface with cross-functional disciplines; using excellent interpersonal skills to drive tasks to completion. Self-motivated with problem solving and decision making skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to develop clear and detailed plans.
