About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Catering Assistant to join a friendly catering team at a secondary school in Chesterfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service to students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals
* Supporting with kitchen duties including cleaning, washing up, and maintaining hygiene standards
* Setting up and clearing away food service areas
* Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
* Working effectively as part of a team to deliver a smooth and efficient service
Requirements
* Previous experience in a catering or kitchen role is desirable but not essential
* Ability to work in a busy environment and manage time effectively
* A positive and flexible approach to work
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
