JOB TITLE: Legal Counsel : French

THE ROLE: A global organisation is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join its high:performing in:house legal team. This is a key role for a senior commercial lawyer who enjoys working closely with the business and leading on complex, high:value agreements.
The Legal Counsel will take ownership of negotiating and drafting a wide range of commercial contracts, including sales, procurement and concession:style agreements, with a strong focus on matters connected to France. The role requires sound commercial judgement, confidence operating independently, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast:paced, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading negotiations and drafting complex commercial contracts for customers and suppliers
* Advising business teams on legal risk and practical, commercially focused solutions
* Working closely with stakeholders and legal colleagues across Europe
* Managing workload autonomously while meeting tight and shifting deadlines
About You
* Qualified lawyer (7+ years PQE) in a European civil law jurisdiction
* Fluent in French and English, and/or significant experience working on French matters or contracts
* Strong background in commercial contract drafting and negotiation
* Commercially minded, detail:focused and comfortable working with minimal supervision
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior commercial lawyer with French language skills or France:based experience to play a visible role within a collaborative, international legal team.
