Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? Our client Primary School is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work with pupils requiring additional guidance, both in class and through targeted interventions.
SEN Support Assistant
* Full-time role – required immediately
* Supporting pupils with special educational needs across KS1/KS2
* £90 - £110 per day dependent on experience
* Initial 12-month temporary post with the potential to extend
* Located in Bolton, with excellent transport links via M61
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a patient, supportive and flexible approach to make a real difference to pupils’ learning and wellbeing.
The role:
* Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND
* Adapting activities to ensure accessibility and engagement for all learners
* Supporting behaviour management and promoting positive social interaction
* Liaising with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual learning plans
* Monitoring and recording pupil progress to inform future support strategies
