As a Structural Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering structural engineering design and project management support across a diverse range of projects. You'll work closely with internal design teams and external stakeholders to provide efficient, safe, and innovative structural solutions from concept through to completion.
Responsibilities
Undertake structural design calculations and prepare drawings, specifications, and technical reports
Deliver detailed designs for steel, concrete, timber, and composite structures in line with current design codes and standards
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, architectural, and MEP engineers to ensure cohesive project delivery
Manage project deliverables, budgets, and timelines, ensuring high-quality outputs
Attend design and site meetings, providing input during all project stages including feasibility, detailed design, and construction
Support junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
Promote best practice in sustainability, digital engineering, and health and safety
About You
Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering (MEng or BEng)
Chartered (MIStructE or MICE) or working towards chartership
Strong technical capability with experience in design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS, or similar
Knowledge of UK and Eurocode design standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive, organised, and committed to high standards of work
