Junior Maintenance Operative
Location – Magor, NP26 3RA
Hours – Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 16:00pm

We’re currently looking to recruit a Junior Maintenance Operative who will support and assist the Maintenance Team with undertaking planned and reactive maintenance at the client’s premises. The role is an entry level role and offers variety, hands-on learning opportunities, with a potential for career progression within the organisation.
In this role, you will assist with the general maintenance of the fabric of the building including painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, undertaking general repairs. You will set up of office suites, meeting rooms and equipment as required with furniture building, moving and dismantling. Once trained, as part of the role you will respond to emergency call-out requests achieving a prompt and effective response to emergency situations, assisting with fault finding and initiating action.
We’re looking for someone who will be willing to pitch in with a variety of tasks linked to this position to support the manager, the team and our client.

3. Physical ability to move and carry heavy furniture
4. Motivated and able to work to a high standard
5. Ability to interact with general client staff, contractors or maintenance workers
6. Great time keeping
7. Basic knowledge of health & safety
8. Numeracy skills
