A specialist commercial interiors and fit out contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Workshop Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their busy joinery workshop.Working across high-end retail, hospitality, office and bespoke interior projects, this role will focus on managing production, leading workshop staff and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.Responsibilities Managing the day-to-day running of the workshopSupervising bench joiners, machinists and workshop operativesEnsuring quality standards and delivery deadlines are metReading and working from technical drawingsLiaising with project managers and site teamsMonitoring materials, machinery and workshop resourcesMaintaining health & safety standards across the workshopRequirements Previous experience as a Workshop Manager, Production Manager or Senior Supervisor within joinery/shopfitting/interiorsStrong knowledge of bespoke joinery manufacturingExperience managing workshop teams in a fast-paced environmentAbility to read technical drawingsStrong organisational and communication skillsHands-on approach with excellent attention to detailLong-term opportunity with a growing businessHigh-quality commercial fit out and interior projectsSupportive working environment with progression opportunitiesTPBN1_UKTJ
