Job

CXC Ltd is currently transitioning to an Employee-Owned Trust (EOT) structure, meaning all employees will become employee-owners of the company and requires a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead and manage the Operating Company (Op Co) on a daily basis, acting as the key link between the C-Suite and the Op Co Board of Directors. As such, familiarity with the intricacies of EOT governance and operations is highly desirable for this role.

Location: UK (Geographically agnostic, with regular presence at Swindon HQ)

Salary: Starting from £71,000 + Expenses + Bonus Package

Role objective

To provide strategic leadership and management to ensure the company's growth, profitability, and sustainability, while upholding its ethos, values, and standards in line with the Operating Company Board of Directors & Trust Company Board.

Role summary

· To provide strategic leadership and management to ensure the company's growth, profitability, and sustainability.

· To operate in the best interests of the Trust Company concerning EOT financial matters and the employees.

· This includes producing and delivering the annual business plan, delegating and directing agendas, driving profitability, managing company organisational structure and strategy, and communicating with the Op Co Board of Directors.

· Be the public face of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and deliver the Annual Business Plan aligned with the Op Co Board's Vision and Strategy.
* Lead company culture, recruitment, talent development, and team motivation.
* Oversee operational functions including sales, marketing, growth, customer service, and logistics.
* Manage financial performance, budgets, and ensure financial stability.
* Represent the company publicly and maintain strong client relationships.
* Ensure compliance, risk management, and legal adherence.
* Manage C-Suite (OpMgtBd Pillar Leads) in consultation with the Op Co Board.
* Deliver KPIs and reporting as per the role's Terms of Reference.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential:

* Proven CEO or senior executive experience in consultancy or SME.
* Strong strategic, financial, and operational leadership.
* Excellent communication, delegation, and interpersonal skills.
* Decisive, Influential, can Prioritise, is Collaborative, and a Critical Thinker.
* Deep understanding of UK consultancy industry.
* Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.

Highly Desirable/Preferred:

* Experience with EOT structures and Trust Boards.
* In-depth knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
* Risk management and compliance expertise.
* Familiarity with ex-military personnel environments.
* Strong sense of humour and cultural alignment with company values.
* Ability to hold Security Clearance.
