Production Planner

We are seeking a dedicated Production Planner to join our clients Supply Chain/Operations department. This role is crucial for providing accurate and timely information to execute daily production plans and support strategic business goals. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring all products are delivered on time and in full, maintaining high standards of operational efficiency.
Day-to-day of the role:
1. Generate daily and provisional production plans using a planning system, ensuring alignment with machinery availability and agreed run rates.
2. Continuously evaluate forward forecasts to meet delivery timelines and quality standards.
3. Collaborate with the Commercial team to align production plans with customer demands, including volume fluctuations and promotional activities.
4. Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as Maintenance and Prep teams to ensure the availability of all necessary materials and machinery.
5. Troubleshoot planning process issues, devising solutions with the support of team members and other business areas.
6. Participate in daily meetings to communicate actions and updates effectively.
