Job Description

Job Title: Facilities Manager must have Health & Safety experience\n\nReports to: Head of Compliance & Central Support\n Location: Swadlincote (travel between offices required; hybrid working available)\n Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)\n\nRole Overview:\n\nWe are seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of multiple office sites, ensuring safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environments.\n\nYou'll manage the admin and reception teams, handle supplier contracts, oversee building maintenance, and ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on people, operations, and service delivery.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLine manage administration and reception teams across sites\n\nOversee office procedures, team meetings, and performance monitoring\n\nManage maintenance, repairs, security, and cleaning services\n\nMonitor facilities budgets and supplier contracts\n\nLead office moves and refurbishments\n\nEnsure compliance with H&S legislation, risk assessments, and training\n\nConduct safety audits, drills, and staff inductions\n\nMonitor safeguarding/incident data and report trends\n\nMaintain office equipment, supplies, and IT/telecoms inventory\n\nProvide occasional out-of-hours on-call support for site security\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\n\nExperience in office/facilities management, ideally across multiple sites\n\nStrong understanding of health & safety and compliance standards\n\nProven leadership and team management skills\n\nConfident managing budgets, suppliers, and facilities projects\n\nExcellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills\n\nHands-on, proactive approach with flexibility to travel as needed\n\nWhat We Offer:\n\nFlexible hybrid working options (business needs permitting)\n\nA supportive and people-first working culture\n\nAutonomy and variety in a vital operational role\n\nOn-site parking and travel support between offices\n\nOffice Angels is an employment agency and business.
