Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Skilled CNC Miller/Programmer to join a busy and fast-paced manufacturing environment in Exhall!
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled machinist who can programme, set, and operate CNC milling machines, with a strong focus on precision and quality!
Responsibilities
* Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines
* Offline programming (experience with ONECNC preferred - training can be provided)
* Producing mainly one-off components
* Inspecting and checking own work using measuring equipment (bore micrometers, micrometers, depth mics, etc.)
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Working to tight tolerances with high attention to detail
* Meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Operating predominantly HAAS machinery
* Maintaining excellent health & safety standards at all times
Requirements
* Proven experience in CNC milling (programming, setting, operating)
* Strong understanding of engineering drawings
* High level of accuracy and quality focus
* Ability to work independently and manage workload
Hours of Work
* Monday to Thursday: 6:45am - 4:00pm (30-minute lunch break)
* Friday: 6:45am - 11:45am
* Overtime available as required
Salary & Benefits
* Salary negotiable depending on experience
* Paid every 4 weeks
* 26 days holiday
