As a Classroom Support Worker, you will play a key role in helping students with their learning, fostering a collaborative atmosphere, and promoting an inclusive environment. Your support will enable students to achieve their potential, build confidence, and develop essential skills.
Responsibilities that you will have:
* Provide one-to-one or group support to students, assisting them in understanding and completing learning tasks.
* Assist teachers in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities.
* Help prepare and organise resources to facilitate engaging lessons.
* Support students in developing social, communication, and study skills.
* Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers.
* Encourage positive behaviour and support students in following school routines.
* Contribute to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Qualifications & Experience required:
* Previous experience as a Classroom Support Worker or similar role in an educational setting.
* A relevant qualification such as CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ Level 2 or 3, or equivalent.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents.
* Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and support varied learning styles.
* Organisational skills to manage resources and tasks efficiently.
* Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for education.
