Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service are recruiting for an Instructor, on a full time, permanent and one permanent part-time basis. In return you will receive a competitive salary of £39,862 – £44,075 per annum/ pro rata.
We're looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and proactive individual, with instructor qualifications and experience of delivering training relevant to operational firefighting.
Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service proudly serves Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland attending over 8,000 emergency incidents each year.
Our Training and Development department plays a vital role in keeping our communities safe. We do this by supporting the knowledge, skill and behavioural development of our firefighters and providing a high-quality training service to members of the Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service team.
We currently have two permanent vacancies available: one full-time and one part-time (24 hours per week) Please indicate on your application form which position you are applying for. This could include driving, firefighting, work at height, water rescue, hazardous materials, trauma care and/or incident command.
You will be a key member of the training and development team, working to provide training to both operational personnel and support staff.
You will need to be able to think fast and be confident working in a busy environment, presenting, coaching and mentoring situations.

CPD will be maintained and supported for any instructor qualifications.
