What the Job Involves This position involves working with Enfield Council and its various stakeholders to manage and enhance the parks and open spaces throughout the Borough. You will be responsible for ensuring these areas remain attractive and safe, while also maintaining a healthy tree stock. The job entails a hands-on approach, including tree maintenance and safety operations. Skills Chainsaw maintenance (CS30.1) Cross-cutting and stacking timber (CS30.2) Felling and processing small trees (CS31) Performing aerial rescues (CS38) Understanding of tree management legislation Full driving license with C1 / C1E / BE entitlement Experience as a tree surgery specialist Chainsaw use from rope and harness (CS39) Desirable: First aid, stump grinding operations, wood chipper operations, MEWP & chainsaw use in MEWP, street works signing lighting and guarding, safe use of pesticides
