Unlock your passions @ Abbey Vets
We are a 2-site practice, located in Arbroath and Forfar, both located in Angus with excellent transport links across Scotland. Work is involved across both sites. We are long established in the communities and our team is a great mix of people who have been here a long time and others who have been with us 2+ years with a very small turnover. We have ultrasound, digital AI assisted Xray technology, multi parameter monitors, well equipped lab and a dental machine onsite with our staff consisting of 2 CD's, 1 vet surgeon and 1 graduate surgeon in their 2nd year.
We have a low cost of living being based in central Scotland with excellent transport links. There is great access to the outdoors, highlands and major cities. Dundee is our closest city, home to the V&A, ice rink, Discovery Ship, Slessor Gardens, concert venue and shopping outlets.
We have no OOH so enjoy a healthy work/life balance. Our team is fun, vibrant, positive and motivated as well as being professional, compassionate and caring. They are committed to their roles and passionate about what they do, providing excellent care to patients and clients as well as supporting each other in the demands of the job. We like to have a social event now and again so that we can engage out of the work setting.
We work hard at providing an excellent service for the patients and owners but also in providing a rewarding and fulfilling experience for our team. We have a supportive environment to enable our team to develop. Regular team meetings help with communication and ensure we are engaging regularly, evaluating and monitoring what we are doing to allow us to continually improve. We work closely with Cat Protection and are looking to develop relationships within our community.
