Through our development programmes, people have progressed into supervisory or training roles within 12 months.</p><h3>What you’ll be doing</h3><p>As a Security Officer, you’ll help keep people, property, and premises safe by:</p><ul><li>Monitoring CCTV, alarms & site access</li><li>Carrying out security patrols</li><li>Supporting staff, visitors & contractors</li><li>Managing incidents & reporting concerns</li><li>Controlling vehicle access & parking</li><li>Issuing visitor passes & managing keys</li><li>Delivering excellent customer service</li></ul><p>These responsibilities give you a good sense of the role. If you’ve worked with people, you already have what it takes.</p><h3>We’re looking for</h3><ul><li>Great communication & customer service skills</li><li>Reliable, professional & proactive attitude</li><li>Full UK driving licence</li><li>Can‑do attitude and a desire to work with us</li><li>Ability to work days, nights & weekends</li><li>Physically fit (regular patrols included in the role)</li></ul><h3>Must have’s</h3><ul><li>Right to work in the UK</li><li>Ability to pass BPSS & SC clearance</li><li>British National</li><li>Lived in the UK for the past 5 years</li><li>SIA licence holders welcome, but not essential</li></ul><p>Due to the nature of this opportunity, candidates must achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) Clearance.
