Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Care Workers to provide high-quality in-home support to clients across the community. The ideal candidate will assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and independence. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable adults and seniors, including those requiring specialised care such as Alzheimer's, dementia, or hospice support. All positions are paid and require a genuine commitment to caring for others.
Responsibilities
* Deliver personalised care plans tailored to each client's needs, including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
* Support clients with medication administration in accordance with prescribed instructions.
* Assist with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional requirements are met and dietary restrictions are adhered to.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being.
* Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organising living spaces.
* Support clients with assisted living activities, including mobility assistance and behaviour management strategies.
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, maintaining safe driving practices.
* Monitor and report on clients' health status and any changes in condition to relevant healthcare professionals.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided in compliance with organisational policies.
Requirements
* Previous experience in assisted living, patient care, nursing home environments or home care is highly desirable.
* Values based ethos and desire to support people in their own homes in line with their care plan.
* Must have a full UK License and have access to a car
* Business Insurance is required on your vehicle
* Must have the right to work in the UK. Please not we do not offer sponsorship.
* Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach towards vulnerable individuals.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and assist with mobility tasks safely.
* Excellent organisational skills for managing multiple clients' needs effectively.
* Valid driving licence and clean driving record for transportation duties.
* Good communication skills and the ability to manage behavioural challenges professionally.
* Flexibility to work various shifts as required by client needs; a genuine passion for caregiving is essential.

Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
