Position
Role Purpose
Drive and coordinate medium to large sized renewable and T&D (substations & overhead/underground lines) projects across the UK & Ireland, acting as the local technical and commercial lead.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead multidisciplinary design and delivery for windfarm, PV plant and high-voltage grid connection packages.
* Manage client interface with National Grid and Distribution Network Operators; ensure compliance with UK grid codes.
* Coordinate internal/external teams, budgets, schedules and risk.
* Develop proposals, support bids and secure new work; achieve BD bonus targets.
Line management:
* Country Reporting: Reports operationally to the UK Engineering Director for resourcing, profit and loss, and day to day delivery performance within the UK & Ireland.
* Technical / Strategic Reporting: Reports functionally to the Division Director - Energy & Industrial Facilities for strategic alignment, technical assurance, and access to specialist divisional resources.
Location
* Primary base: United Kingdom (specific office or homebased to be confirmed).
* Mobility: Must be willing and able to travel across the UK & Ireland-and occasionally to Spain or other Ayesa offices-for client meetings, site visits, and coordination workshops.

Requirements
Key Requirements
* BEng/MEng (Electrical Engineering).
* 10-15 + years in HV networks, substations and transmission & distribution, with ≥5 years direct UK Grid experience.
* Proven project management record (EPC, utility or consultancy environment).
* Strong commercial acumen and sales capability.
* Mobility across UK & Ireland; full right to work.
