Job Overview
Grade 7 This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Events officer to join a small team delivering a programme of quality, distinctive events in Andover Town Centre. These events play a key role in the Council’s plans to drive town centre regeneration as part of the Andover Masterplan.
Working Hours
30 hours per week, Permanent.
Key Responsibilities
* Work independently and collaboratively to plan and deliver events.
* Demonstrate ability to work on projects at various stages simultaneously, with attention to detail.
* Work closely with the Strategic Lead for Cultural Programmes and others on the wider event programme and large‑scale projects.
* Bring your own expertise and creative input to the role.
* Have direct responsibility for managing specific events and projects, including budgets.
* Work occasional evenings or weekends to support events.
Candidate Profile
This is a varied and interesting role that would suit someone with a positive, can‑do attitude, who is highly organised and enjoys a balance of office‑based work with public and stakeholder engagement and event delivery. You should be passionate and energetic about cultural‑led regeneration and able to advocate for the social and economic impact of public events.
