Overview
Vital currently have an exciting role for a Document Controller for a contract position. This is based in Warwickshire working for a well-known Rail client of ours.
Title: Document Controller
Location: Warwickshire
Rate: £150-£200/day depending on experience
Duration: Rolling contract
Responsibilities
* Manage all project documentation, ensuring accuracy, quality, and integrity.
* Maintain and update the document control system (e.g. Sharepoint and Bentley).
* Process, distribute, and file incoming and outgoing project documents, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
* Ensure compliance with project-specific document control procedures.
Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Proven experience as a Document Controller on large-scale civils or construction projects.
* Strong understanding of document control best practices and processes.
* Experience with Sharepoint or similar electronic document management systems is highly desirable.
* Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
