KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Customer Platforms to lead the design, delivery, and commercial success of our next-generation customer platforms.
These platforms are central to how OAG delivers value from our four key data streams: Flight Supply (including reference data, fleet and connections), Status, Fares and Demand, all to a global customer base.
You will own the strategy, development and commercial success for two flagship products:
1. Core: A data delivery platform powering customer systems with enterprise-grade SLAs, offering high-quality, low-latency, high-volume flight data.
2. Co-Pilot: A self-service, user-centric platform that empowers people and teams to query, visualise, and analyse flight data. It will feature natural language querying, predictive analytics, dynamic visualisations (maps, graphs, paths), self-service reporting, and a consumption-based pricing model.
For Co-Pilot, you will influence high growth through a product led growth strategy, connecting tightly with our Go to Marketing team.
This is a senior leadership role requiring a rare blend of product vision, technical acumen, commercial drive and people leadership.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
3. Strategy: Define and execute platform roadmaps aligned with company strategy and customer needs.
4. Delivery: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade, user-centric platforms.
5. Commercial: Drive growth, adoption, retention, and monetisation, including Co-Pilot’s consumption-based pricing model.
6. Engagement: Act as the voice of the customer, building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
7. Leadership: Build and inspire high-performing teams, fostering innovation and customer focus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
8. Proven track record leading enterprise SaaS or data platforms at scale.
9. Strong experience in product strategy, platform development, and commercial leadership.
10. Deep understanding of data delivery, APIs, self-service analytics, and enterprise SaaS SLAs.
11. Familiarity with NLP, predictive analytics, and modern data visualisation practices.
12. Experience with consumption-based pricing models and driving commercial adoption.
13. Exceptional leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
14. Ability to bridge business strategy, technical delivery, and customer needs.
