We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Driver to join our team based in Edinburgh. This role involves multi-drop deliveries across Edinburgh, East Lothian and throughout Scotland, ensuring goods are transported safely, efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out scheduled multi-drop deliveries across designated routes
* Load and unload vehicles as required
* Work alongside a porter when necessary to complete deliveries
* Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely and professional manner
* Adhere to all driving regulations, including driver hours and safety compliance
* Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any issues promptly
Experience and Skills
* Valid HGV licence (essential)
* Previous experience in a similar driving role
* Ability to carry out medium to heavy lifting
* Strong knowledge of road safety and compliance regulations
* Good time management and organisational skills
* Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends during peak periods
