We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Consultant in Special Care Dentistry who shares our values and is eager to lead and innovate in the care of patients with complex needs. Advert About the Role As a Consultant, you will: Deliver comprehensive oral care to adults with learning disabilities, complex medical conditions, and challenging behaviours. Use a full range of techniques including behavioural management, inhalation sedation, and general anaesthesia. Provide clinical leadership and a specialist referral service for eligible patients. Support and supervise the training of community dentists, dental core trainees, specialist trainees, and postgraduates. Collaborate closely with the Derbyshire operational leadership team and contribute to services across CDS-CIC as needed. What w e’re l ooking for:- GDC registration and inclusion on the Specialist List in Special Care Dentistry. Active NHS Primary Dental Care Performer Number. Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
