Head of Sales
Location: Office-based, with travel across East Anglia
Are you a technically minded sales leader ready to take the next step? We're looking for an experienced and commercially driven Head of Sales to lead a team of four talented Sales Managers within our dynamic B2B environment.
Reporting directly to the Senior Leadership Team, you'll combine strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to drive growth, enhance customer relationships, and optimise sales performance across the business.
Responsibilities
* Lead, coach, and motivate a team of four Sales Managers to achieve and exceed sales targets
* Oversee daily B2B sales operations, ensuring exceptional service and strong client retention
* Work cross-functionally with technical, operational, and customer support teams to resolve issues and deliver end-to-end solutions
* Analyse performance metrics, prepare monthly sales reports, and present actionable insights to the Senior Leadership Team
* Continuously refine sales systems, processes, and strategy to improve efficiency and profitability
* Develop and implement effective cross-selling, up-selling, and lead-generation initiatives
* Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-driven team culture
Qualifications
* Proven experience managing and developing high-performing B2B sales teams
* A strong technical sales background — ideally someone who began in a technical or engineering role before moving into sales leadership
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills across all levels
* Strategic thinker with the ability to balance commercial goals and customer satisfaction
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
* A proactive, driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
