Location: Lambley, NG4 4QF
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 1:30pm (Term Time Only)
Salary: £13.27 per hour
Contract: Permanent
Weekly Hours: 25 hours
Setting: Working within a school environment
A Head of Kitchen is required to lead the catering provision at a primary school in Lambley. This role involves overseeing food preparation, ensuring high standards of hygiene and service, and managing a small team to deliver nutritious meals to pupils.
Responsibilities
* Lead the preparation and serving of meals
* Manage kitchen staff and daily operations
* Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety standards
* Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
* Liaise with school staff regarding dietary requirements and service improvements
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar catering role
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Knowledge of food hygiene regulations
* Friendly and professional approach
* Must hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one
