About the Role: You will be leading a Year 6 class through a crucial academic year, preparing pupils for their transition to secondary school. The role includes in-class support from a dedicated Teaching Assistant, allowing you to focus on high-quality teaching and targeted interventions. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum Prepare pupils for end-of-year assessments and SATs Monitor and support academic and personal development Work closely with the Teaching Assistant to provide differentiated support Collaborate with colleagues across the MAT to share best practices Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-expectation classroom culture What We're Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6 Strong understanding of SATs preparation and curriculum requirements Excellent classroom management and communication skills A commitment to pupil progress and wellbeing A valid DBS or willingness to obtain one Why Work with Monarch Education?
