We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Land Manager to join a well-established independent estate agency’s Land & New Homes team in Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying, securing, and managing land opportunities for residential development across Hertfordshire & surrounding counties, ensuring profitable outcomes while contributing to the growth of the business.
As a Land Manager, you will be offered:
1. Up to £35,000+ basic
2. Realistic OTE between £60,000-£70,000
3. No weekend work
4. Full support from the Land Director
As a Land Manager, your key responsibilities will be:
5. Identify and secure new residential development sites.
6. Generate business opportunities for the Land & New Homes department.
7. Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, vendors, and clients.
8. Negotiate sales and agreements effectively.
9. Collaborate with the wider agency team to drive business growth.
10. Lead and develop the new homes department.
11. Conduct market research and analysis to inform strategy and decision-making.
12. Report directly to the Land Director on sales and performance figures.
To be considered for the Land Manager role, you must have:
13. Experience in land acquisition and new homes, with a proven track record.
14. Knowledge of the Hertfordshire area.
15. Understanding of planning law, development costs, and the residential property market.
16. Strong negotiation, selling, and interpersonal skills.
17. Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
18. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
19. IT literate and confident in reporting and data management.
20. Full UK driving licence essential.
