I’m working on a fantastic opportunity for an experienced eCommerce Manager to take full ownership of a fast-growing online channel within a well-loved UK consumer brand.
This is a commercially focused role where you will be responsible for delivering budgeted volume, revenue and profit targets across the online shop. It’s a brilliant opportunity for someone who combines sharp commercial thinking with creativity and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
You will fully own and drive performance across the online channel. From traffic generation and conversion through to retention and profitability.
Working closely with Finance, Demand Planning, Warehouse, Sales and Brand, you’ll ensure the web shop operates seamlessly end to end. You’ll lead the Web Shop team with a collaborative, hands-on approach and won’t be afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed.
Key responsibilities
* Set and deliver budgeted volume, revenue and profit targets
* Own commercial performance across the online channel
* Continuously improve the website, including user experience, product listings, merchandising and brand presentation
* Drive traffic and revenue growth through SEO, PPC and email marketing
* Design and deliver email campaigns, newsletters and promotional activity
* Monitor and report on performance, using data to test, learn and optimise
* Implement retention strategies and new initiatives to grow customer lifetime value
* Work closely with an external SEO agency to execute campaigns
* Oversee stock systems for the web shop
* Directly manage and support the Web Shop team
About you
You will already have strong eCommerce experience with clear ownership of online sales performance. You understand how to drive growth through SEO, PPC, email and content marketing, and you are confident using eCommerce platforms and digital tools.
You’re commercially minded but creative, comfortable analysing data and translating insight into action. You can create engaging product copy and promotional content that converts. You’ve managed people before and know how to motivate a team.
You’re organised, detail-focused and comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
If you’re looking for a role where you can truly own the online channel and make a visible impact, I’d love to speak with you.
