The Role We are currently seeking applications for an Administration Clerk at our office at Sunderland Depot. As an administrative clerk, you will play a significant role in ensuring that an office runs smoothly. Your duties include a wide range of administrative and clerical tasks. Key Accountabilities Managing the office’s general correspondence, which will include phone calls, letters and emails. Developing and maintaining an effective filing system. Operating and maintaining office equipment like printers and replenishing office supplies as needed. Preparing and proofreading office documents, such as memos and reports, and distributing these as necessary. Assist with the processing of wages, producing reports where appropriate. Maintain driving licence compliance through the relevant system and report any irregularities to the depot management team. Maintain a CPC tracker and arrange training. Data input into the HR system. Ensuring all processed information is dealt with in a secure and confidential manner following the guidance of the Data Protection Act. Liaise with colleagues to ensure the safe return of identified lost property. Drafts, formats, and prints relevant documents. Maintains accurate records for employee holiday requests and holiday system. Assist colleagues whenever necessary. Undertake training and development as required. Good organisational skills. Experience with Microsoft programmes a must. Payroll software, Oracle Fusion or similar procurement product experience. Driving licence checking software experience.
