ROLE – Quality Management Systems Engineer
LOCATION – Alcester
SALARY – £47,000 per annum

Quality Management Systems Engineer
The Quality Management Systems Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, developing, and continuously improving the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. This role will work closely with internal stakeholders and external bodies to ensure the business remains audit-ready and continues to drive quality excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and develop the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001, AS9100, NADCAP, and customer-specific requirements
Develop, review, and maintain Quality System procedures to support current and future business needs in collaboration with process owners
Monitor and report on Quality System KPIs, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
Support problem-solving activities by understanding process constraints and contributing to efficiency and flow improvements
Act as the primary point of contact for customers and third parties on Quality Management System matters
Ensure audit readiness at all times through effective system maintenance and governance
Maintain and develop the internal audit framework and Corrective Action Reporting system across the business and supply chain
Conduct Quality System audits and support the training and mentoring of internal auditors
Manage and coordinate activities with external NDT Level 3 representatives
Support Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives where appropriate within the scope of the roleSkills & Experience
Experience working within regulated manufacturing environments (aerospace experience desirable but not essential)
Typically 2–5 years’ experience in a Quality Systems or similar role
Strong attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach
Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Self-motivated with a proactive and positive attitude
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
