We’re partnering with a leading Lloyd’s Managing Agent to appoint a Financial Crime Sanctions Analyst to join their compliance function. This is a high-impact role and will take a lead role in a critical project to revamp the organisation's sanctions screening process through the optimising of their current screening tool (LexisNexis Bridger) or the implementation of a new screening tool.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct a comprehensive review of the existing sanctions screening tool (LexisNexis Bridger) to assess its effectiveness, accuracy, and alignment with regulatory expectations and industry best practices.
* Identify and recommend enhancements to screening controls, methodologies, and tool configurations to strengthen sanctions risk mitigation.
* Support the implementation of improvements or potential technology changes, including engagement with stakeholders and vendors to ensure solutions are practical and fit for purpose.
* Collaborate with the wider compliance team to ensure the sanctions framework remains robust, responsive to regulatory changes, and aligned with Lloyd’s market expectations.
* Act as a trusted advisor to business teams by translating complex sanctions rules into practical guidance.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a Lloyd’s Managing Agent, Syndicate, or broking environment is preferred, although strong candidates with company market insurance experience will also be considered.
* Working knowledge of international sanctions regimes and their practical application within the Lloyd’s and company markets.
* Experience working with LexisNexis Bridger.
Benefits
Initial 12-month contract, with a view to making it permanent. Paying in the region of £50k - £70k per annum.
