We are seeking a driven Content Creative Specialist to join our Ecommerce team to help communicate our mission, engage our audience, and elevate our brand across digital platforms. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping BlocOuts voice and storytelling by producing compelling content that educates, inspires and connects with customers seeking a better nights sleep. You'll be the go-to person connecting BlocOut with all things creative contentmaking sure our content vibes stay fresh, on-brand, and ahead of the game. You have the finger on the pulse for the latest in this creative space, including liaising with creators, agencies, content platforms, and you may well be happy in front of the camera yourself. Role Overview As a Content Creative Specialist for BlocOut, youll be at the forefront of our brand storytellingcrafting dynamic, on-trend content that amplifies our blackout solutions and connects with audiences across our D2C channel. Youll blend creativity with data-driven strategy, ensuring every piece of content not only inspires but also drives measurable growth and engagement.A core aspect of this role is collaborating with other creators and brand partners to co-create impactful content and extend our brands reach to new, highly engaged audiences. You are the critical interface, and understand what makes consumers tick, and have the ability to meet them wherever they are in the marketing funnel, from Unaware to Problem Aware to Most Aware. Key Responsibilities Ideate, produce, and manage high-impact content across digital touchpointsincluding meta, website, blog, social media, email, and product collateralto elevate brand visibility and drive customer action. Partner with marketing, ecommerce, and product teams to deliver tailored messaging our audience groups, leveraging insights to maximize relevance and resonance. Ensure content is conversion-focused and on brand and created in a way our audience expect to consume. Grow and engage our social media communities with compelling visuals, reels, stories, and UGC-inspired content that reflects current trends and BlocOut's brand ethos. Identify, brief, and manage relationships with content creators whose values align with our brand, leveraging their platforms to amplify campaigns and drive authentic engagement across digital channels Photography and video production, including styling, shooting, and editing, to create scroll-stopping assets for digital campaigns. Stay ahead of digital and design trends, integrating new and emerging platforms to keep our content strategy fresh and forward-thinking. Ensure all content aligns with BlocOuts brand voice, tone, and style guidelines, maintaining consistency and authenticity across every channel. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Basic graphic design skills (e.g. Canva, Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator). Familiarity with social media platforms (Meta, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok). Knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp, Klaviyo) understanding of SEO and content strategy and experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify) is a plus. A creative eye for photography, video and visual presentation. What Were Looking For Proven experience creating content for D2C audiences Proven experience working in a busy ecommerce marketing environment Expertise in digital storytelling, video production, and social-first content creation, with a finger on the pulse of whats trending. Willing to learn and take instruction where needed and open to the opportunity to join a growing team with big ambitions. Able to translate data insights into actionable content strategies. Collaborative mindsetcomfortable working cross-functionally and adapting to a fast-paced, innovative environment. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment. Someone who is brave to try new ideas. Essential Criteria: A degree in Marketing or similar (e.g. Communications, Media, etc.) Minimum 1+ years experience in a similar role Experience in a marketing/content role Excellent writing, proofing, and communication skills (fluent in English) Experience with social media content creation and management Facebook, Instagram, TikTok etc. Graphic design and video editing experience (Adobe Creative Suite or Canva, Premiere Pro or similar) Good working knowledge of digital tools like email platforms, website CMSs, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google equivalent Highly organised with great time management skills Able to take initiative and manage multiple tasks without supervision A reliable team player with a can-do attitude and a keen eye for detail Join BlocOut and help us shape the future of sleep, one story at a time.
