District Nurse Service Lead – Permanent
An exciting opportunity has become available for a District Nursing Service Lead. This post is part of the District Nurse Service Leadership Team and allows the successful candidate to lead, manage and develop the Community District Nurse service. You will work alongside the existing District Nurse Service Lead, driving local and national change and integration within community nursing.
Key responsibilities include:
* Lead the District Nursing Service and its clinical capacity to maintain flow.
* Support the achievement of corporate targets.
* Play a key role in the economy escalation processes.
* Provide effective accountable leadership, clinical and operational support.
* Ensure effective service provision in line with operational requirements.
Qualifications and experience required:
Your experience will demonstrate extensive knowledge in managing clinical governance, including incidents, risk registers and audits. You will possess leadership skills to drive change, meet workforce demands and prevent inappropriate hospital admissions.
