We are leading the search on behalf of a highly successful international beauty business to appoint an outstanding Trade Sales Director to lead the next phase of growth across the UK professional channel.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the UK professional sales function, developing and executing the commercial strategy and delivering ambitious growth targets across a national customer base.
This is a highly visible leadership role, offering the opportunity to shape the future direction of the professional division, influence strategic decision making and lead a talented team through the next stage of expansion.
You will be responsible for:
* Developing and delivering the UK trade sales strategy to achieve significant revenue and market share growth.
* Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing sales organisation, including Regional Sales Managers and field-based teams.
* Creating a culture of accountability, performance and continuous improvement.
* Driving sales effectiveness through robust planning, forecasting, CRM utilisation and performance management.
* Partnering closely with Marketing, Brand, Education, Finance and Operations to maximise customer engagement and commercial performance.
* Identifying new growth opportunities through customer insight, market analysis and strategic account development.
* Building and strengthening relationships with key customers, distributors and commercial partners.
* Supporting commercial negotiations and strategic opportunities across the UK and selected European markets.
* Acting as a key ambassador for the business across industry events, customer engagements and commercial forums.
About You
We are seeking a commercially astute sales leader with a proven track record of delivering sustainable growth within a branded, customer-focused environment.
You will bring:
* Significant senior sales leadership experience, ideally gained within personal care, beauty, hair, professional products, consumer brands or a related sector.
* A demonstrable track record of driving revenue growth and building high-performing sales teams.
* Strong experience leading field-based and regional sales functions.
* Exceptional coaching, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
* A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to execution.
* Strong commercial, analytical and planning capability.
* The ability to build credibility and influence at all levels, internally and externally.
* A genuine passion for brands, customer engagement and commercial excellence.
