 
        
        We’re seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our clients Digital Infrastructure team, with a particular focus on the Rail sector. You’ll play a key role in driving digital transformation projects, leading workshops, analysing business processes, and supporting the delivery of technical solutions that improve client outcomes.

The position is hybrid working, 3 days a week on client site.
Key Responsibilities
 * Lead and support business analysis activities across a range of digital Rail projects.
 * Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to capture, define, and refine business requirements.
 * Document and analyse current processes, identify future-state improvements and design end-to‑end process models.
 * Provide mentoring and support to junior analysts
 * Support data capture, validation, and analysis to inform business decisions.
 * Collaborate with Data Analysts to develop, interpret, and apply model outputs for decision‑making.
 * Develop detailed functional and non‑functional specifications to support solution delivery.
 * Work closely with project managers and technical teams to design and implement digital solutions.
 * Contribute to business development activities, including proposal writing, pitch presentations, and client engagement.
Skills & Experience Required
 * Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within the Rail or broader Infrastructure sectors.
 * Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, requirements management, and process improvement.
 * Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall project environments.
 * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to client cultures and environments.
 * Experience with data analytics and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, SQL, Power Platform, SharePoint, MS Project).
 * Familiarity with digital transformation within the public sector (desirable).
 * Ability to gather, review, and analyse data such as KPIs, financial reports, and performance metrics.
 * Degree in an analytical discipline preferred; equivalent experience considered.
 * Business Analysis qualifications (e.g. BCS, IIBA) advantageous.
