Senior Associate - Agriculture & Land - Somerset - 5+ Years PQE
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with some hybrid flexibility)
Salary: £55,000 to £75,000 (depending on experience)
A respected South West law firm is seeking a Senior Associate with 5+ years' post qualification experience to join its busy and well established Agriculture & Land team in Wells. The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of agricultural and rural property matters, including:
* Sales and purchases of farms, estates and rural land
* Agricultural tenancies
* Rural land development and diversification projects
* Succession planning support
* Agricultural finance and security work
* Building strong relationships with landowners, farmers, estates and rural businesses
* Supporting a collaborative and ambitious team culture
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with:
* 5+ years' PQE in agricultural, rural property or commercial property law
* Strong technical skills in property transactions
* A genuine interest in the rural and agricultural sector
* Excellent communication and client care abilities
* Confidence managing matters independently
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* A proactive, solutions focused mindset
* Strong commercial awareness
* The ability to mentor junior colleagues and contribute to team development
