About the Role
We are seeking a creative and detail-driven Mid-Weight or Senior Interior Designer to join our design team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and delivering high-quality interior design projects across residential, commercial, and marketing suite sectors. This is a hands-on position, offering responsibility for design through to FF&E specification, technical detailing, and preparation of all Design aspects to ensure high standard of project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead design projects from concept through to completion, under the guidance of senior team members.
* Develop creative concepts and presentation material for client pitches and attend pitches if required.
* Prepare drawings, layouts, and technical details using InDesign, photoshop and CAD and design software.
* Produce FF&E specifications, liaising with suppliers to source bespoke joinery, furniture, lighting, and soft furnishings.
* Support with project management, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
* Collaborate closely with colleagues, suppliers and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
* Conduct site visits if required and coordinate with contractors and suppliers during installations.
* Stay up to date with industry trends, products, and innovations to bring fresh ideas to the team.
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 3 years' professional experience in an interior design role.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
* Strong knowledge of FF&E sourcing, specification.
* Demonstratable experience producing design concepts, presentations, and technical drawing packages.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence in client-facing situations.
* A keen eye for design detail and awareness of current design trends.
Qualifications
* Degree in Interior Design or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
