Peaple Talent has partnered with an industry-leading software company seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to develop and expand their client base. Experience in complex solution-based sales and selling consulting services (not essential) is preferred.
You will represent our client on the front line, creating, developing, and applying effective sales strategies. Your goal will be to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales, acquiring new business, and forging strong client relationships. You will manage current accounts while solution selling additional products and services to existing and new customers.
Key Accountabilities
1. Develop growth strategies focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
2. Achieve targets for growth within nominated accounts.
3. Identify new markets and customer needs.
4. Build long-term relationships with customers and arrange business meetings with prospects.

8. Maintain records of sales, revenue, and invoices.
9. Provide reliable after-sales support and feedback.
10. Deliver solutions aligned with sales targets and customer experience standards.
11. Manage customer accounts proactively to ensure excellent service.
12. Develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
13. Ensure the delivery of customer solutions.
14. Execute Account Development Plans to maximize profitability.
15. Understand competitor offerings and market positioning.
16. Provide accurate sales forecasting.
17. Manage and develop UK-based customer accounts.
18. Increase revenue streams and retain existing customers.
19. Sell the full portfolio of solutions and services.
20. Work within the constraints of a developing business environment.
21. Maximize margins and profits in line with company objectives.
Essential Skills and Experience
1. Successful experience in B2B sales and delivering solutions to targets.
2. Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in account management roles.
3. Experience engaging at all organizational levels to drive sales.
4. Face-to-face customer engagement experience.
5. Strong commercial acumen and business understanding.
6. Proficiency in IT tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
7. Presentable and articulate communication skills.
8. Full UK driving license.
Experience in complex solution-based sales and consulting services is advantageous.
