Waltham Forest Falls Prevention Service provides Waltham Forest residents with a multi-disciplinary Falls Assessment within the community. The service also runs Falls Education & Exercise Classes. The successful candidate will also be expected to deliver Falls Education Presentations to Care Homes and other services within the Borough.
Responsibilities
* Community Falls Assessments in homes
* Equipment provision
* Home Exercise Programmes for balance and strength
* Work as part of a Multidisciplinary Team
* Leading Exercise and Education Classes including presenting Falls Topics
* Supervision of Band 3 & 4 Rehabilitation Assistants
* Deputising for the Band 7 Team Leads
* Supporting OT students
* Falls Prevention Presentations to Care Homes and other groups
Benefits
High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,870 and a maximum payment of £6,137) prorated for part time staff.
