Do you love making a meaningful difference to someone's everyday life? Are you happiest when you're out and about, enjoying coffee shops, local towns, and relaxed daily routines? Join us in supporting a gentleman in Liskeard.
We're looking for a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join our team and provide one-to-one support for a friendly gentleman living independently with his cat in Liskeard. He is living with a walking ABI and experiences some behavioural challenges, so we're seeking someone patient, calm, and confident in providing consistent, person-centred support. Every shift is a chance to bring positivity, stability, and confidence to his day.
Meet the Client:
Our client is an independent and active gentleman who enjoys getting out into the community, especially visiting his local coffee shop for his daily coffee and exploring around Liskeard town. He has a keen interest in staying out and about and benefits from a support worker who can positively engage with him during these outings.
No personal care is required; however, he benefits from gentle prompting and encouragement with personal hygiene, along with reminders to take his medication. He is independently mobile and walks without assistance, although he can occasionally be unsteady and may experience the odd fall, so reassurance and awareness while out in the community are important.
Shift Details:
Day shifts: 09:00 to 19:00
