The opportunity
We are seeking an interim Regional Financial Controller to provide immediate leadership during a carve-out and transformation. Covering both the UK and Australia/New Zealand, you'll deliver critical finance oversight while helping design and embed new processes and systems. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will stabilise operations, manage compliance, and partner with senior stakeholders during a period of intense change.
What you'll do
* Lead statutory, tax, treasury, and compliance activities across UK & ANZ.
* Act as a finance project manager, mapping gaps and coordinating ERP/process changes.
* Support transformation initiatives under the transitional services framework.
* Manage external audit, statutory reporting, and internal controls.
* Partner with leadership to ensure strong governance and effective decision-making.
What you'll bring
* Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
preferred but not essential

* Big Four background
desirable, not essential
.
* Broad technical finance expertise, with strong grounding in statutory, tax, treasury, and compliance.
* Proven transformation, ERP or process-mapping experience.
* FMCG or multinational sector exposure beneficial.
* Hands-on, adaptable, resilient - you thrive in complex, fast-paced environments, take ownership, and deliver results.
* Comfortable with ambiguity and change.
* Existing right to work in the UK.
