About the Role
As a Nights Support Worker, you will play a key part in ensuring a safe, calm and supportive environment overnight. Your work enables young people to thrive throughout the day by ensuring they wake settled, supported and ready to learn.
This role involves providing emotional and physical support when required, assisting with routines during the night and early morning, and completing important tasks that help the home run smoothly—essential responsibilities that directly contribute to each young person’s progress and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
* Support young people who may wake during the night, offering reassurance and care
* Help learners with morning routines to prepare them for the school day
* Maintain a calm, secure and supportive environment
* Administer prescribed emergency medication when required
* Build positive, professional relationships with students and staff
* Carry out domestic tasks such as laundry and maintaining cleanliness
* Promote emotional wellbeing and encourage independence
* Produce accurate, clear written records and reports

Requirements
* Minimum 6 months of adult/childcare experience, particularly with SEN
* Driving licence essential due to the location of the school
* Strong communication and listening skills
* Calm, caring and reliable approach
* Willingness to work night shifts and adapt to varying routines

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
