£60,000 - £65,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits
The Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of high‑value capital projects (ranging from £250k to multi‑million pounds), delivering them from initial design phases through to installation and commissioning. You will play a critical role within the Project Management Office, leading cross‑functional teams and ensuring successful delivery against key commercial, technical, and timeline targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead full lifecycle project delivery through structured stage‑gate processes
* Define and manage project scope with both internal teams and external clients
* Develop and maintain risk registers, mitigation strategies, and contingency plans
* Oversee budgets, forecasts, and cost control, including change and variation management
* Coordinate engineering teams, contractors, and suppliers to meet project deliverables
* Manage stakeholder communication, providing clear updates on progress and performance
* Negotiate contracts and manage commercial relationships with vendors and partners
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards
* Build and structure effective project teams within a matrix organisation
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience managing engineering or process‑based projects end‑to‑end
* Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, variations, and contracts
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams across complex project environments
* Strong organisational, planning, and risk management capabilities
